Privacy Policy

MicroSprint · Last updated 28 July 2026

The short version. MicroSprint has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your missions, sprints and statistics never leave your device. We cannot see which apps you choose to block, or which apps you use — Apple's Screen Time design makes that impossible for us, by intent. The only data that leaves your phone is what Apple and our subscription provider need to process a purchase.

Who we are

MicroSprint is developed by Fernan Ochoa Amador. If you have any question about this policy, contact support@fernanochoa.com.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally on your iPhone and is never transmitted to us:

You can export all of it as a JSON file, or erase it permanently, from Settings → Privacy & data inside the app. Deleting MicroSprint also removes it entirely.

What we genuinely cannot see

When you choose apps to block, iOS gives MicroSprint anonymous, opaque tokens rather than app names. Those tokens are meaningless outside your device and cannot be reversed into a list of apps. We never receive:

This is not a promise we ask you to take on trust — it is how Apple's Screen Time frameworks are built. We could not access this data if we wanted to.

What is processed when you subscribe

Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see or receive your name, email address, or payment details. To know whether your subscription is active, we use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription-management provider.

What we do not do

Notifications

If you allow notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device — sprint start and end alerts, deadline reminders, and optional reminders before a crunch date you have entered yourself. No push server is involved and no notification content is sent anywhere.

Children

MicroSprint is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. The app uses Screen Time with individual authorization — it is a personal focus tool, not a parental-control product.

Your rights

Because your content stays on your device, you already have direct control: export it or delete it at any time from within the app. If you would like us to confirm what an anonymous subscription record contains, or to have it removed, email support@fernanochoa.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is handled, we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change in the app's release notes.
