How does Guardrail see my spending?

Guardrail uses Apple’s secure FinanceKit framework to read your transaction history directly from your device's Wallet. We never have access to your bank login credentials or your full credit card numbers.

Why am I not receiving alerts?

Ensure that Notifications are enabled in your iPhone settings under Guardrail. Also, verify that Background App Refresh is active so the app can sync transactions in real-time.

Is my financial data safe?

Absolutely. Guardrail operates on a "Local-First" principle. Your transaction data is processed entirely on your iPhone. We do not use external servers, nor do we share your data with third-party AI models or advertisers.

Which banks are supported?

Guardrail supports any card or account currently compatible with Apple Wallet "Connected Accounts," including Apple Card, Apple Cash, and most major banks in the US, UK, and EU.
